Our Departments and Services
St Briannah Children’s Hospital will provide a wide range of specialist departments and services, including paediatric emergency care, neonatal and intensive care units, cardiology, oncology, neurology, orthopaedics, surgery, radiology, diagnostics, rehabilitation and mental health support. The hospital will also provide maternity and newborn services, outpatient clinics, pharmacy services, family counselling and accommodation support for parents whose children require long-term treatment.
ECMO
A major focus of St Briannah Children’s Hospital will be the provision of advanced Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation—ECMO—treatment for critically ill children. ECMO is a highly specialised life-support system that temporarily supports the heart and lungs when they are unable to function effectively on their own. By investing in ECMO technology, specialist medical teams and intensive-care facilities, we aim to provide lifesaving treatment for children experiencing severe heart failure, respiratory failure and other critical medical conditions.
